Prata Wala

My friend and I made a stop at Prata Wala after school one day as I was craving for Indian food. Say Indian, I would think spicy, lip-numbing curry and hot, crispy naan. Slurps. Prata Wala is an absolutely no-frills place, but quite popular judging by the number of people on a Friday at 3.30pm. Maybe it was the timing too, cos Naan was out of stock. What a bummer. We then bought a tissue prata to share while I had plain thosai. My friend had her cheese prata. We thought that we wouldn't be full but going by portion sizes we were absolutely wrong.

They were ginormous. Look at the tissue prata! It was towering and i swear everyone's head turned when the uncle brought it to our table. My thosai was also spilling out from my plate.

Big in quantity = eat a bit then jelat.

So true. We were pretty big eaters but a few bites here and nibs there, we were SO FULL that we couldn't go on. Not sure it was because of our teh tarik or the oils and fats. I had a tummyache after eating but it was just me. I wasn't used to oily food, and I probably ate too much. *burp.

In anyway, we would likely return again but order smaller portions this time round, for sure!

Revitalising.

Hello lovely readers! I know that there are some readers out there, even though our blog has been inactive for... over a year. *gasp. We must be the laziest teachers ever. Even so, we are still actively going out, having food (and fun) at the same time, having hits (and of course misses), and taking lovely photographs of our food before we tuck in.

I really love love love this blog, and even though readership has never been high, but I still think about it each time Paul and I whip out our iPhones to take photos of our food at cafes/restaurants. There is never a good time, so why not revitalise our blog now! :)

I can't remember ALL the places we went to over a span of a freakingggg year, but these are just some that I can recall. Either for good or bad reasons. Please, if you are *STILL* reading our blog or just happened to stumble in, please let me know by either dropping us a comment or sending me (Joy) a love mail at redappleroses@gmail.com. Also, if any cafes below catch your eye and you want us to do a review, we WILL! I will pore though our old photos just to write it. Thank you to our lovely readers!
